Our new brake power supply. In operation since the beginning of 2025.
This year we’ve introduced our new brake power supply, designed with modern IGBT technology and fully closed-loop current control at 1200 Hz to deliver faster, more precise, and more efficient braking performance.
Key features:
– Full closed-loop current control @ 1200 Hz
– Fast brake current discharge via a dedicated discharge circuit
– PWM frequency 1200 Hz for smooth operation
– Automatic cooling and over-temperature duty cycle limitation
– Linear current output
– Integrated fault diagnostics with status LEDs
This new generation power supply is 4-5 times faster and significantly more accurate than the previous model, thanks to current measurement performed 1200 times per second.
The new discharge circuit ensures rapid brake release, for example, when the operator releases the throttle or shifts gears.
Meanwhile, the 1200 Hz PWM frequency enhances linearity across the full braking range, with the most noticeable improvement at low brake duties (5–20%).
