More braking capacity and extra hub reach in a compact design.
We have added a new model to our hub dyno range! The SMALL PLUS fits between our existing SMALL and MEDIUM models, offering significantly more braking capacity than the SMALL while keeping the design compact.
The SMALL PLUS is designed for high-performance street cars, turbocharged cars, track cars, drift cars, drag cars and other applications where more braking capacity is needed.
More braking capacity
The SMALL PLUS offers 3 300 Nm of braking torque per hub, giving a total of 6 600 Nm per axle in a 2WD configuration.
At 2 000 hub RPM, the calculated maximum braking power is 1 600 hp. However, the actual braking capacity depends on several factors, including the vehicle’s gear ratios, hub RPM and brake temperature. Based on our real-world experience, we recommend the SMALL PLUS for cars with up to approximately 1 000–1 200 hp.
These figures represent the maximum braking capacity, not a minimum power requirement. The SMALL PLUS is equally suitable for measuring lower-powered vehicles.
Compact design with extra hub reach
One of the main advantages of the SMALL PLUS is its compact size combined with an extended shaft.
Compared to the SMALL model, the longer hub reach makes it easier to connect the dyno to vehicles with wide tires, fender flares or wide body kits.
At the same time, the SMALL PLUS is physically smaller than the MEDIUM, making it a practical choice for workshops where space is limited.
Same Dynolyze technology
Like our other hub dynos, the SMALL PLUS uses our own dyno control system, including software, control electronics, firmware and brake power supplies developed by us.
The SMALL PLUS comes with the same Dynolyze software and standard equipment as our other models, including the computer, movable computer booth, remote controller, weather station and bolt pattern adapters.
Available for 2WD and 4WD applications
The SMALL PLUS is available as a 2WD hub dyno and can also be combined with other Dynolyze models for 4WD applications.
Available 4WD combinations include SMALL + SMALL PLUS, SMALL PLUS + SMALL PLUS and SMALL PLUS + MEDIUM.
Which Dynolyze model is right for you?
With the addition of the SMALL PLUS, our hub dyno range now includes three models:
- SMALL: Our most compact and lightweight model, recommended for cars with up to approximately 500–600 hp.
- SMALL PLUS: More braking capacity and long hub reach in a compact package, recommended for cars with up to approximately 1 000–1 200 hp.
- MEDIUM: Maximum braking capacity and extra long hub reach for high-power and high-torque applications, recommended for cars with up to approximately 2 000 hp.
